This position mainly requires a focus on the quality of services being offered to our clients as well as efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in detailing to include washing, waxing, and compounding polymer/ceramic coatings. Our clients have some of the most luxury vehicles in the Annapolis area, and we are committed to providing them with exceptional service. Attention to detail and focus on safety are musts for a successful job candidate. This is a full-time position, and there is excellent potential for advancement into other areas of our auto/marine service business. MAD Soaps is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to drive company sales by persuading customers to use our services. The Sales Representative’s responsibilities include managing customer relationships, identifying networking opportunities, answering customers’ questions, and finding new customers through cold calling, & emailing. You should also be able to implement effective sales strategies to continually meet or exceed sales targets. -Customer Interface -Generating leads -Identifying potential customers through networking and following leads -Solicit new business, up-sell existing business -Building and maintaining solid working relationships with both new and existing customers. This is a remote position except for the occasional in person boat quote. We offer mileage reimbursement. Pay is based on experience.
MARINE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
We are looking for a reliable, self assured marine service technician to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of marine watercraft. The Marine Service Technician’s responsibilities include regular inspections and testing of engines, propellers, and steering mechanisms, as well as replacing valves and bolts. You should also be able to purchase the required tools and supplies. -Cleaning, repairing and maintaining all parts of the boat or vessel. -Maintain and repair inboard & outboard marine engines from top manufacturers. -Reading through repair and installation orders to determine material, time and equipment required. - Scraping away old paint, barnacles, and debris from vessels. -Removing and replacing rotter or rusted sections of the vessel. Constructing replacement parts using drawings, saws, and various hand and power tools -Testing engines, propellers, steering and navigational equipment -Mixing and applying paint, wax and gel coats -Liasing and consulting with the supervisor and other relevant professionals and vendors High School Diploma or GED Yamaha and Mercury Certifications Required Practical experience with tools and equipment used in marine maintenance Ability to read and understand technical manuals Good verbal and written communication skills A willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback The ability to carry heavy loads and to stand, sit and stoop for prolonged periods We offer mileage reimbursement.
